Jean Carson, Jane Dulo, Don Knotts, and Howard McNear in The Andy Griffith Show (1960)

Goofs

Convicts-at-Large

The Andy Griffith Show

Edit

Continuity

The signs in the market window change from the time Floyd leaves the store to the very next sequence when Andy and Mr. O'Malley meet. There are also outside shoppers that weren't there before.
When Naomi pumps water outside O' Malley's cabin, Andy handcuffs her while O'Malley brandishes a handkerchief to cover her mouth. In the next shot, more of the handkerchief hangs further down over her chin.
When the bus arrives and Andy looks at his watch, the bus is shown with the door still closed, yet it takes less than 5 seconds for Mr. O'Malley to get to where Andy is standing.
Barney's hair changes between the wide shot and the closeup when he's on the phone with Andy.

Revealing mistakes

At the beginning, when the three convicts are pushing through the bushes, Sally accidentally pushes her wig back when wiping her brow.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

Near the beginning, when Barney gets out of the car that has run out of gas, his dubbed voice is heard to say "Maybe we can find a farmhouse and borrow some gas," but it is clear that his lips are not moving.

Plot holes

Sally and Floyd fetch food from town in Floyd's car, the very car that ran out of gas and was abandoned earlier. No explanation is given as to where they found enough gas to head into town and back with no problem.
