In the final scene, a low camera angle on Barney (from the children's point of view) reveals the courthouse has no ceiling, and the rising studio wall beyond.
After the meeting with the salve company, Gomer says to Barney, "I still don't know how you did that with your voice." However, Gomer had made the same modification to his own voice in the previous scene.
