This episode sees Andromeda's crew heading to a planet where the greatest scientists are due to discuss the Magog threat. Harper is due to be the key note speaker and is enjoying the attention... especially from an attractive female scientist. Inevitably things soon start to go wrong; one scientist goes missing and another can't give his speech because somebody has stolen key parts of his brain! If that weren't enough Dylan has been kidnapped by The Collectors who intend to recruit him whether he likes it or not.
While this isn't a classic episode it is still rather fun. It was nice to see Harper taking a lead with some laughs to be had from his inevitable failure to impress most of the ladies. What is happening to the scientists is interesting; the idea of taking parts of one's brain leaving a gibbering shell of a person is rather disturbing. It isn't a surprise that Harper finds himself targeted; nor is it a great surprise to guess who the threat really is. The secondary story involving Dylan is also pretty good; his blasé attitude to his captors was a highlight. Overall a decent episode.
