- A teenage horror buff is so smitten with a sexy classmate that he helps her use black magic on their loathsome English teacher, with shocking and bewildering results.
- Peter Brand (Scott Coffey) awakens, to his Mom calling him on his phone. He's later for school again, and has padlocked his bedroom door, keeping his Mom out, and leading him to exit out his bedroom window.
Peter gets to his class late, and is immediately chastised by Professor B.O. Beanes (Christopher Lloyd). Beans is talking about Shakespeare and MacBeth," claiming Lady MacBeth used the promise of sex to get what she wanted. At the same time this is going on, Peter passes the homework he's done, to a girl named Cynthia Simpson (Mary Stuart Masterson).
Beanes then hands back the last test papers, calling out the papers from Peter and Cynthia, which are identical. He threatens punishment for both, when Peter claims he copied off Cynthia's work. Cynthia is given her C+ paper, while Peter is forced to "meet the misters," balancing several heavy tomes for the rest of the class.
After school, Cynthia claims they should get back at Beanes. Visiting Peter that night, she recommends a record by the group Blood Sausage. One song played backwards, tells of something called "The Curse of Delcite." Cynthia claims she used this curse on her Mom, and it gave her the hiccups for several days.
The two then go to the local cemetery to get ingredients, but end up running short on time trying to finish the concoction. They end up using an entire hand from Beanes' blood relative.
They then go to Beanes' home to see if the spell worked, only to see him dead on the floor! Breaking into the house, they see a clock stopped at midnight. Plus, they can be accused of breaking-and-entering. The two then decide they need to revive Beanes.
Playing another song on the Blood Sausage album backwards, they use a spell of resurrection. For a "graven image," Peter tries to use a picture from their yearbook, but ends up tearing the picture across Beanes' neck.
The resurrection spell works, but due to the torn picture, Beanes' head detaches from his body!
The body pics up the head, and chases the two teens outside! Cynthia abandons Peter by jumping onto a bus, leading Peter to run away as fast as he can. He manages to get into his room, but not before Beanes' body lobs his head through the window! Peter collapses next to his bed, as the head tells Peter he "wants to see him in detention."
Peter is suddenly awoken by his phone, and his Mom tells him he's later for school again.
Getting to class, Peter finds everyone working with their heads down. At the front of the class, Cynthia is "meeting the misters."
Suddenly, Beanes' hand grabs Peter's shoulder, claiming his tardiness has earned him a one-way ticket to detention.
"Detention's fine, just as long as you're alright," says Peter.
"Well," says Beanes, "Actually, I have a bit of a sore throat!"
Beanes whips off his scarf around his neck, revealing the stitching that has re-attached his head to his body, laughing maniacally as Peter looks on in horror!
