Edith answers an ad in a magazine she found on the subway, thinking the couple want to be pen pals. However they turn out to be wife swappers and invite themselves to the Bunker home.
Hilarious episode with so many funny lines and scenes to mention. It starts off with Mike and Gloria desperately trying to explain to Edith why the couple Curtis (Vincent Gardenia) and Ruth Rempley (Rue McClanahan) cannot come to the house. Mike sends a telegram to tell them, interrupted by Archie, Mike tries to hide the phone behind him when Archie enters, Archie says "I've seen guys talking' through their hats before but I never seen this!" The laughs keep on coming when the Rempleys arrive unexpectedly with gifts and invitations to dance (and they suddenly want to switch partners in the dance). Louise Jefferson arrives and breaks the news to Edith (seeing her suddenly realize is one of the funniest moments.) Also when Curtis shows a nude picture of Ruth to Archie and says he is going to show a picture to Edith, Archie suddenly yells "HOLD IT! HOLD IT!, my wife ain't lookin' at no part of you! I don't want any creepos, weirdos or sexos in my house!" I think this belongs in the top five of all episodes of this classic series.
