Carroll O'Connor and Isabel Sanford in All in the Family (1971)

Goofs

Lionel Moves Into the Neighborhood

All in the Family

Edit

Continuity

Lionel says that his new household includes him, his parents and his aunt, but later his Uncle Henry is the only other resident and no "aunt" is ever mentioned again.

Correction: George Jefferson also moved into the house of course, but simply wasn't seen until the season four episode "Henry's Farewell." He was mentioned numerous times prior.
The Jeffersons' house is said to be two doors away from the Bunkers, but later episodes have it right next door. (The Bunkers are at #704, this episode stating the Jeffersons are at #708).
A neighbor, "old man McNab," is said to have moved away years ago, but other episodes have the McNabs still living in the neighborhood; for example, they were referenced in the preceding episode "Mike's Hippie Friends Come to Visit." Perhaps "old man McNab" was the father of the current neighbors.

Crew or equipment visible

At approximately 2:35 the shadow from one of the cameras is seen moving along the front wall behind Archie.
