Factual errors

The sculpture code inside the CIA building (the real one is much larger and outside) was described by the tour guide as yet unsolved. The real one has 4 ciphers, 3 of which were solved independently in 1998 and 1999. As of 2022, the 4th one has yet to be deciphered.

Revealing mistakes

When Marshall runs the decryption program on the hard drive, it decodes the encryption key as 132007479. Later, when Tom runs the decryption program on the witness protection record, it decodes the exact same decryption key. The CIA would never use the same key for multiple records.

Errors in geography

A scene portrayed as CIA headquarters in Washington DC, uses the Los Angeles Center Studio building at 450 S Bixel Street , with the Washington Monument shown in the vicinity of the building.

Character error

On the report that Marshall shows Rachel, Tom Grace's wife was born in 1978 and died in 2003, making her 25 years old. The report lists her age as 35.
