A man walks into a police station with no memory of who he is. He is soon followed by young Mickey Hollins, who was inadvertently left behind by his father at a gas station. Through talking to the boy and the police officer, the man gradually remembers bits and pieces of memory, until he finally remembers who he is and why he's in his current predicament. Similarly, the boy also reveals the truth about himself.
