When a young boy adopts a pet goose, the Christmas Goose named Matilda is slated for Christmas dinner. This episode appeared on a the holiday favorites DVD among the 49 selected holiday episodes. Filmed in England in the fifties, this episode is a treat to see how Christmas and holiday episodes were celebrated across the pond. It's a cute episode overall and predictable ending appropriate for the holidays.
