- Little Pete controls underground radio station WART along with Artie. Little Pete then decides to start his own band. However, the neighbors aren't too tickled about the racket every day and night as they rehearse.
- Little Pete's pirate radio station, WART, provides all the news the neighborhood can need, but Little Pete, who's never had a favorite song, sees music as superfluous to his line-up (which includes morning traffic reports and informational programming such as "Scab Talk"), until one day, when late for school, he catches a riff from a song that finally gets stuck in his head. But the song is fading fast, in spite of Pete's best efforts.
Desperate to save the song before it's lost forever, Little Pete starts a garage band called The Blowholes. Their mission: to play the last remaining riff of the song around the clock without stopping until it all comes back again. But when the band racks up a massive power bill and Dad threatens to pull the plug, The Blowholes have to get creative to rake up enough cash to keep the music alive. Inspired by Big Pete, the band begins to take requests for cash.
The power bill is paid, but Little Pete gives up his hope of ever getting his song back and decides to quit the band. The remaining Blowholes rally together for one last shot. As they play, Little Pete finally remembers the lyrics, and it all comes together for a massive encore. The band breaks up, but Little Pete's song is safe at last.
