Dave and June are at Ozzie and Harriet's. June tells them she is applying for a job. David says that Connie is going on vacation for two weeks and June wants to take the job while she is gone. Dave and June get into a small, light argument over it. They mention that the law office is where they met. It's a fun and cute way to reuse footage from season 9 when June made her second appearance on the series. It is cleverly cut to make it appear as if this was the future June Nelson at the job instead of Cathy Carson which is what the original episode was about.
David reluctantly agrees to give her the job. This was similar in some respects as the season 9 episode but done differently now that Dave and June are married. It is still a good episode to watch.

This episode makes use of footage from the 1960 episode "David Hires a Secretary." In that episode, June Blair Nelson played one-time character "Cathy Carson," who came to work as a temporary at the law firm. In the new episode, it is implied that we are actually seeing David's wife June in the flashback footage as the Nelson's look back on her work at the office.
The use of the old scenes is a clever way to save on costs and work. This episode is now commonly available on DVD for viewing, affording fans a look at one of June's earliest appearances on the series. June is absolutely delightful and always presents some of the best and most memorable work of the very early '60s seasons of O & H. Her chemistry with David mirrors that of Ozzie and Harriet themselves: A loving couple who enjoy to kid each other at times, and we become enamored of them.

- TriviaThis episode uses footage from S9 E10 David Hires a Secretary (1960) where June Blair plays a different character, Cathy Carson.
- GoofsIn an early scene where Dave and June are telling Ozzie and Harriet that June may be working temporarily in Dave's office, June's hair has a mind of its own. In some shots, it's perfectly combed back from her face, in others there's a stray lock falling down over her forehead.
