The Out-of-Towners

The A-Team

Edit

Continuity

After the garbage truck unloads its cargo in the nightclub, BA rushes in to join the fray. He leaves the driver's door open. In the next shot, a hand can be seen pulling the door closed. Shortly thereafter, the door is open again as the team makes their getaway.
When Face first brings the garbage truck back for Hannibal, he jumps out and we see he's wearing a red shirt, black leather jacket and jeans. Two minutes later, after Hannibal has finished complaining about the truck being empty, Face is still wearing the jacket and jeans, but his shirt color has changed to pale blue.
The taxi that B.A. tails Digger and Scully in alternates from a 1973 Plymouth Satellite to a 1975 Plymouth Fury.
The taxi cab Face is driving has a different registration plate from when following the protection racketeers to when it arrives back at the shops.
When the bartender reaches behind the counter for the shotgun, he is clean shaven. You see a glimpse of the bartender with a mustache reaching for the gun in the next frame. He goes back to clean shaven when he shoots.

Revealing mistakes

When Face speeds off in the taxi cab (with the angry passenger in the back) water can be seen spilling out of the car's trunk. This is a FX/stunt driver's trick as they line the trunk with plastic and fill it with water to increase the weight on the back of the car so that the wheels will spin and smoke.
The Uzis being fired by Hannibal and Murdock are clearly prop guns with simulated muzzle flashes as there are no empty shell casings being ejected from the guns.

Errors in geography

Though this episode is set in New York City, there are a number of shots that were clearly filmed in Los Angeles; when Hannibal, B.A. and Murdock are supposedly leaving JFK Airport, the Transamerica building (now USC Tower) is clearly visible.
