The A-Team helps a fellow POW survivor who works as a pastry chef and is threatened by a drug distributor.

Face recognizes, although incredulous, the pastry chef in his fancy favorite LA restaurant as Lin Duk Coo, the kind Viet Cong prison camp cook who kept the A team and many other near-starved POWs alive. The team is just in time to prevent him being killed as inconvenient witness by mob prince Tom Anderson, formerly POW camp rat Thomas Angel, and former camp commander general Chow. It turns out the fiends are combining forces to import and distribute Chinese heroin. The A-Team discovers that the cook from a Vietnamese prison camp -- an honorable man who helped them and many other GI's survive by sneaking them food -- is working in L.A. at a trendy restaurant. Unfortunately, the P.O.W. camp commander also knows that he's there and will stop at nothing to kill him for revenge. And in another twist, the camp commander is in business with another former prisoner, the son of a powerful U.S. mobster with a narcotics distribution network that can circulate South East Asian heroin throughout the Western Hemisphere.—R.
