This is another one of those bad family dynamics episodes. In this episode, there are two sons. One's an outlaw - a killer; and the other is a Texas Ranger. The outlaw has escaped from prison and comes face-to-face with his brother. His brother hesitates and the man flees. Fortunately, the Captain was right behind and was able to take him in. But some men only have one way to be stopped...
It's always sad to see good parents who have sons at outlaws. I feel sorry for them - must be an awful thing.
The entire family were all developed with various characteristics. The Rangers did a good, believable job trying to help the family while protecting them.
