• George Mason : [Over the phone]  Baker should be on site any minute: his got a hard perimeter around the mosque

  Jack Bauer : Ok I'll get back to you as soon as we get there

  George Mason : There's something I've got to talk to you about. I just got off the line with Sheriff's Department in Newhall. They were transporting Kim and got into some kind of "accident."

  Jack Bauer : What're you talking about? What kind of "accident"?

  George Mason : Well, don't worry. She didn't get hurt or anything

  Jack Bauer : What the hell was she doing with local authorities? Your people was suppose to pick her up

  George Mason : By the time our guys got to the station, they already moved her. Some local deputy was trying to be a big shot, claiming jurisdiction for a murder charge

  Jack Bauer : Where is she now?

  George Mason : She ran off after the accident. I don't know if she was trying to avoid the police or just trying not to get brought back to LA

  Jack Bauer : Damn it, you told me you would take care of this. You gave me your word. Please find my daughter

  George Mason : Hey, if it's any consolation she is outside the blast radius

  Jack Bauer : Just find her

• Kate Warner : [after Jack hangs up the phone with George]  what was that about?

  Jack Bauer : My daughter

  Kate Warner : Is she involved somehow?

  Jack Bauer : No

  Kate Warner : She's in some kind of trouble though?

  Kate Warner : I don't know yet: I hope not

• Jack Bauer : When we get to the mosque, we'll meet up with the tactical team: all we need you to do is to identify Syed Ali, and then we'll transfer you back to CTU

  Jack Bauer : [after she nods]  you ok? Look, I know how difficult this must be for you

  Kate Warner : Do you? You know it could really help me out a lot if you could tell me what's going on?

  Jack Bauer : I'm afraid I'm not at liberty to tell you anymore than I already have

  Kate Warner : You people took the liberty of arresting my father. Syed Ali took the liberty of kidnapping me, and killing Paul Koplin right in front of me. I think I've earned the right to know what's going on

  Jack Bauer : [after sighing]  we believe Syed Ali is at the center of a terrorist attack in Los Angeles today

  Kate Warner : What kind of terrorist attack?

  Kate Warner : A nuclear bomb. You're the only person we know that's seen him. We need you to identify him for us. The reason why I'm taking you with me now is because we're running out of time

• Tom Baker : We're good to go: I've got thirty men deployed ready to move on your order

  Jack Bauer : How many people are in the mosque?

  Tom Baker : Between a hundred and one twenty-five. We're dividing them into target groups of ten each

  Jack Bauer : We're not going in, not yet

  Tom Baker : Sir?

  Jack Bauer : We go in hot, we're going to have a crowd control situation. That'll give Syed Ali enough time to take his own life before Kate can identify him

  Tom Baker : What's the alternative?

  Jack Bauer : We wait for the prayer service to end. He comes out with everybody else, Kate identifies him then we'll take him out surgically. Fast and alive. His no good to us dead

  Tom Baker : What if someone out here spots us first? They phone Ali, we lose our surprise. That's assuming if his even inside, we're working on a weak hunch here

  Jack Bauer : That's a risk we're going to have to take, we're waiting this out

  Kate Warner : I can go in, see if his inside. I'll wear a Hijab, hide my face. He wouldn't see me

  Jack Bauer : I'm sorry. I don't feel comfortable putting you in that position

  Kate Warner : From what you've told me we're all in a pretty bad position. If I can help, I'd really like a chance

  Jack Bauer : You really think you can do this?

  Kate Warner : [Nods]  yeah

  Jack Bauer : [to Baker]  give me the schematics for the mosque. I want to look at the floor plan

• Jack Bauer : [while showing her the floor plan for the mosque and telling her what to do]  this is where the men pray: in the front closest to the entrance. Now you're going to walk by them as you pass through this corridor down to the women's prayer area in the back. Kate you got one shot at this, once you pass them their backs are going to be facing you. Make sure you get a clean look at the whole room. Now if you spot Ali I want you to go past the women's prayer area here up to this corridor here to this fire exit, and exit the door and we'll be waiting for you in the alley, you clear?

  Kate Warner : Yeah

  Jack Bauer : [to baker]  your men in place?

  Tom Baker : Yeah

  Jack Bauer : Ok, let's go

  Jack Bauer : [after taking her away to talk privately]  you sure about this?

  Kate Warner : Yeah

• Jack Bauer : [Going over the plan with the SWAT team]  here's what we're looking for: Middle Eastern man, late thirties, wearing a black shirt, silver buttons, and black pants. Ms. Warner and I will cross the street and cover the main entrance. As soon as the prayer service is over and the crowd starts to leave the building, she'll identify Ali. I will relay his position to agent Baker, and he will give the go

  Tom Baker : No one moves before that happens. Last thing we want is for him to run. If you fire your weapon, shoot to wound only

  Jack Bauer : Ok we have nineteen minutes before the prayer service is over, is everybody clear? We cannot afford any mistakes here
