Director Stanko Crnobrnja wanted the TV marathon to take place in the TV Belgrade studios which were devastated in the 1999 NATO bombings of Belgrade and Serbia. The new management of TV Belgrade did not allow this event to take place at the studio ruins but instead offered to put at the disposal the largest TV Belgrade sound stage, located in the remote Belgrade area called Kosutnjak. This was the first time in the history of TV Belgrade that its official, flagship studio was used as a venue for what was, in essence, a multimedia event-installation-performance, attended by more than 500 invited guests
