South Koreans refer to these bodies of water as the East Sea and the West Sea, respectively, and they get very upset when anyone mentions the former by the other name.
On the side of the North Korean army truck taking the American prisoners to interrogation, the word "Buk-Han-Guk" is stenciled in Korean. This is the South Korean word for North Korea. North Koreans consider this term offensive and would never use it to describe their own country.

The film is introduced as being set in the 'Present Day' (2006), when it is actually set in September 2004.
After Bobby is tortured by having a long spike hammered though his hand,the gauze bandage put on it never shows any blood, and for the rest of the movie, he uses that hand as if there is nothing wrong with it.
