140 minute documentary detailing the battle at Vimy Ridge at which Canadians fought. The film explores events that lead up to the battle, documents the racism, political maneuvering, and faulty equipments that the troops were forced to endure, and eventually tells the story of the unification of the Canadians as Canadians, regardless of the racial, ethnic or religious background.
