Shikaar review :
A murder mystery cum romantic drama; Shikaar was a much delayed film which finally secured a theatrical release in 2000. The down and out Vikas Bhalla was kept out of the film's publicity and only Ayesha Jhulka and Abhishek Kapoor's faces adorned the posters. Abhishek aka Gattu was a failed actor but turned out to be a successful director later quite like Subhash Ghai. Ayesha Jhulka, my most fave actress of the '90s, was at the fag end of her career but having said that, she was the only reason I sacrificed my Sunday afternoon siesta and went all the way to Hindmata Cinema, Dadar to watch the movie. Truly, Fan ho toh aisa!!
