A slasher by any other name, is a instant-crowd pleasing idea, but when you feature only 20 minutes of anything interesting at the end, in terms of kills and story, Killer Yacht Party absolutely fizzles any cheesy attempt to feature some nice kills and nude hotties. I mean, they’re here but Uzarowics’ direction cops-out on the goods, possibly its only saving grace, but with cut aways from kills and some low-light scenes of boobs, horror fans really don’t have...

Expect blood, gore, sex and bikini-clad hotties in this new slasher. Troma's 'Dead in the Water' has been waiting and waiting and waiting some more before it could hit DVD. And now this May it finally will, albeit under the new (and much improved) title 'Killer Yacht Party'. Piotr Uzarowicz helms from a story by Alex Silver and stars Anne Son, David Lago, Nicole Malgarini, Renee Darmiento, Becky Boxer, Taylor Gerard Hard, Marco Martinez and the sexy Kate Luyben - whom you may remember fondly as Natalie in a couple of episodes of 'True Blood' getting naughty and naked.
