Goofs

Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak

Edit

Continuity

The truck that the American has riddled on the way to the prison has no holes when arrives.
A Mercedes-Benz 200 is blown up in a scene. Before the explosions it is a Mercedes-Benz 200 W123, when it explodes, it changes into a W116, which is actually an S-Klasse.

Factual errors

The U.S. Army is shown using the Ural 375 and Otokar Akrep; the U.S does not use these vehicles.
There are several instances of U.S. soldiers being killed by pistol rounds, even those wearing body armor. In actuality the Kevlar body armor currently worn by American military forces is more than capable of stopping pistol rounds of various calibers, even without the extra SAPI armor plates.
U.S. soldiers in 2003, presumably infantry of the 173rd Airborne, are shown carrying the full-size M16 assault rifle, when in fact most regular U.S. Army infantry at the time carried the M4 carbine.
In the scene where U.S. soldiers invade the Turkish HQ, the Special Operatives are seen using G36C's. U.S. military does not use this weapon.
The supposed Humvees seen being driven by the U.S. soldiers are obvious souped-up civilian models with V-8 engine exhaust ports, most likely the Turkish equivalent of the U.S. model. The U.S. military standard Humvee does not have V-8 engines and are much smaller than depicted in this film.

Revealing mistakes

The PASGT helmets worn by U.S. soldiers are obviously replicas as they are thinner and have no bulk on the sides.

Anachronisms

A U.S. Marine is shown wearing the DCU when the USMC had switched to MARPAT long before the film came out.
During the final firefight, U.S. soldiers are seen using the M72 LAW antitank weapon. This weapon was phased out by the U.S. military in the early 1980s and was replaced by the M136 AT4 at the time of the film's release.
Some U.S. soldiers are seen firing their M16s on full automatic, when in fact the modern version of the M16 used by the U.S. only allows for 3-round bursts.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

During the final firefight when Polat sneaks up behind an American, the American turns and can be heard firing his rifle, however there is no muzzle flash visible.
