Regular zombies - They are the most frequent types you'll encounter in this game. They are the weakest zombies, but they can still pose a big threat in large numbers.
Crawlers - These zombies move using all four limbs. They are quite dangerous because they can easily be overlooked, and they can use short bursts which enables them to move as fast as you. They are best taken down with headshots.
Puking zombies - These are mostly dangerous in close combat fight. When you approach into their range, they start puking the content of their infected stomach. You can recognize them by the green cloud of gas emitting from their bodies. When you are hit by their puke, you progressively take damage and your vision is blurred. The infection wears off in a couple of seconds. They are best taken down by waiting for them to finish puking, and landing a good melee weapon blow, or by any ranged weapon.
Screamers - The only threat these zombies pose is that they shout very loudly, calling infinite zombie respawns in the area. As long as this guy is around, zombies will keep spawning. He's completely harmless on his own, he never attacks, he just stands still and screams for reinforcements. His endurance is similar to regular zombie. He should be the one you take out as first.
Shivering Exploders - These zombies are similar to puking zombies. They emit this green cloud around their bodies. When you reach their range, they start to shiver with their head tilted down, and then they explode leaving a huge cloud of green gas. This gas has very big range, so it's best to move far away as quickly as possible. The effects of this gas are similar to puke. They are not worth fighting, because you would only waste ammunition, as these zombies just kill themselves without any effort.
Weapons armed zombies - Zombies who taught themselves to use melee weapons. These zombies are the hardest you'll ever encounter in this game. They cannot be eliminated with headshot, neither you cannot shoot/cut off any of their limbs. They just need to be meeled/shot until they die. They have vastly superior melee attack range (the only ones who have wider range are pukers and exploders), thanks to their weapons. They can carry any melee weapon except for the hammer.
