Stan's lawyer informs him there was a "last minute change" made by the Bureau of Prisons. The Bureau of Prisons ("BOP") governs federal prisons only, but Stan was sentenced to a state prison, which is governed by the state's agency, known only as "Department of Corrections".
In the shower scene, Stan says he made his nun-chucks out of three bars of soap and a shoe string, but there are clearly 6 bars of soap, 3 on each end of the string. About 5 minutes earlier, you see Stan in his cell, cutting 3 bars of soap into 6 half bars, so what Stan says is true.
During his fight with Big Raymond, Big Stan breaks his opponent's finger. However, the finger seems intact a few minutes later, as Big Stan is shown walking away.
In the shower scene Big Stan gets cut with a razor blade above his right nipple. He says it will leave a scar. In later scenes there is no sign of any cut whatsoever.
