Trivia | Several sources claim that the film is an adaptation of Anton Ohorn 's anticlerical play "Die Brüder von St. Bernhard" (1904), which is erroneous. The confusion comes from the fact that Maurice Rémon adapted it into French in 1907. But his 1918 film, although it has the word "Frères" (Brothers) in common, has nothing to do with the play he formerly adapted. See more » |
