Goofs In several scenes Constellation crewmembers are seen on the mess deck wearing their covers (caps). By longstanding naval tradition this is a major breach of etiquette. During battle the crew's mess serves as the battle dressing station so all personnel remove their covers when entering the mess deck out of respect for the dead. See more »
