Umra puts her ring on Nawab Sultan's pinky, but in the sequence of the same scene, the ring is on Nawab Sultan's ring finger.
The bridge they cross at the beginning of the film to go to Lucknow is asphalted and the blocks on both sides of the bridge are painted.
The movie is set in the period of the late 19th century but the hand pump shown is of India Mark II which came into existence much later.
The distance between Faizabad and Lucknow is a little more than a day's walk. Even in the 19th century Umra could easily return home as a teenager if she wanted to.
