This film was originally entitled "Angels in Mrs. Garcia's Room" in 1998 and had an narrative track by Billy Kispert. After its reedit in 2000, Jav retitled it because of its significant changes.
Javier's first film to premiere at a film festival (2001 Wisconsin Film Festival).
During production, Javier continuously played the song "Kalena Kai" by Keola Beamer to help find the mood and pace of the camera movements.
When asked to give advice to new filmmakers during the Q&A session at the Wisconsin Film Festival, Javier responded, "Keep your receipts in case you have to return a prop or something that you can't afford to keep."
Several people have complimented the shot around the chair and have asked Javier how he was able to afford to rent a dolly while in college. The dolly was actually a tripod on a Red Flyer wagon with rubber wheels. Javier pulled the wagon while Craig operated the camera.
