Clean People

We have all been that nervous klutzy character that Rodney plays SO very well! How long can it take one guy to just get in the door of the washateria? Once inside his sad attempts at doing the laundry are rivaled by his even sadder attempts to make friends with the "cool crowd" in the washateria. It's great fun for the audience to see him redeem himself through wisdom and medical knowledge. After this is seems he has finally found a "home" among the clean people. I can't wait to see him perform a more serious role soon. Great job with the film, Roy. Bravo. Congratulations on your "Best Comedy" Award at The Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival. Dude, you are CLEANING UP.

Overall a must see !!

I thought the script was well thought out and very well executed. It had a consistently good storyline with a moral story at the end to make things even better. Attention to detail was right on. These guys really know how to make a great film. Acting was great, especially from the lead character who had me laughing the whole time. Film making skills were top-notch as well. I didn't even see one reflection of the camera crew the whole time, and this was in a large room full of washers and driers as well as a full glass wall. I would like to see more films from this company in the future. My Vote is for a perfect 10....will see again!!

Great comedy debut

One of the best debut comedy shorts I've seen. Roy Ford has real talent as a director/producer and his lead actor - "Bunkie" - is a modern day Charlie Chaplin. Ford has the ability to produce a feature film and I know that with his cinematic eye and gift for comedy, he'll do well. Bunkie could really go places. His physical comedy is amazing. I had to play back the scene where he stumbles through the door over and over to see how he pulls off this difficult comedy and keeps us laughing -- lots of pure talent here. Ford was also able to get great results with the Canon XL-2 and demonstrated formidable editing skills. It didn't surprise me that Clean People won the Gulf Coast Festival for Best Comedy, and I'm sure it will do well in other festivals.
