Julian Conde served as more than actor and A.D. on the film. He printed official-looking film school t-shirts to help prevent police or park workers from interfering with the shoot since there was no film permit. It worked. Park rangers pulled up to the shoot, saw the t-shirts and continued on.
A "more authentic" looking bench was used for the shoot after the existing park benches were deemed too modern.
As luck would have it the stylist's mother had just opened a vintage clothing store giving the film its authentic period look.
