Lige and Billy are small-time film-actors and rivals for the hand of the daughter (Ruth Hiatt) of their boss (Mack Swain). The rivalry involves fish and cats and makes for coherent comedy in the first half but film falls apart rather in the middle, with Lige projecting the film with interruptions from a cat and a dog, a fat lady in the audience (Sunshine Hart) and a boy with a catapult.
