Some of this bondage fetish adventure is fun, but as usual the watching of bosomy femmes squirming in their roped & gag condition gets old in a hurry.
Title stems from a teaming of two actress/models with the same surname as stage name, possibly providing some marquee value or a turn-on to ardent fans. What they have in common is big breasts, with Alexis taking breast in show honors.
Director Jon Woods likes silliness, so this low-budget exercise is about an escaped gorilla named Elvis, represented on screen by a man in a gorilla suit, even crummier looking than in a poverty row '40s or '50s movie (think PRC or Monogram studio). Our less than intrepid team is hired to find the beast, which is a genetically altered subject that can -surprise, surprise, apparently tie rope knots with the best of humans, all the better to put women in bondage. One actress complains about this absurd premise at one point, but Woods pushes full speed ahead.
Most of the exposition is given in voice-over by Alexis, while out-takes included in the total 75-minute running time (which also includes coming attractions) show co- star Brook incapable of reciting her lines properly. Supposedly hilarious is her constant error referring to actress/character Liz Tyler in the cast as Liz Taylor.
Cheap sets ruin any possibility of atmosphere or escape from a home movie aspect to this junk. Scenes set at Julie Simone's Animal Rescue Center take place on the same under-dressed apartment set as apartment scenes, and make similar stagings in a '60s Doris Wishman sex film look downright palatial by comparison.
What we get is nearly a dozen scenes of one or two femmes tied up and gagged, squirming and whimpering as they struggle with the bonds. Woods' camera focuses on their bosoms and feet, latter usually wearing high heels or inside pantyhose. Occasionally boobs are released from their bondage for brief topless footage -this genre's equivalent to a money shot in hardcore land.
Other than being overly made up, the girls are moderately good looking, though no stunners were hired this time out. For a fetishist, I guess the tropes of struggle, near cat-fight (when a girl subdues another to be tied or gagged) and sounds of helplessness are what matter. Watching enough of these Harmony Concepts artifacts I still wonder why video was considered a suitable medium, since all that happens and is shown seems obviously aimed at still photos, for magazine use.
