Alison jumps out of the tank barefoot onto broken glass, cutting herself. Moments later she is running down the hall and there is no blood on her feet or the floor.
After the scene where Alison comes up from the corpse tank, she is all wet. Also, she steps on glass, which obviously hurts a lot. A couple of moments later, she runs through the corridor, no blood under her feet and with dry clothes (except from a few dashes on her legs).
Med student Carlos tells his lab partners that Alita Covas was a prostitute "on death row" in Brazil for killing her clients. Brazil does not have death penalty.
Dr. Blackwell, the gross anatomy professor, is listed as an M.D., having his doctorate in medicine. However, Gross Anatomy, and all the other basic science courses in medical school (such as histology, physiology, biochemistry, immunology, microbiology, genetics, embryology, and neuroanatomy) are taught entirely by Ph.D.'s who have specialized in the respective fields. Physician professors are used for clinical education courses.
Notably in the opening dissection scene, when Alison hurls and then faints. Upon reviving her, Dr. Blackwell addresses Alison as *Dr. Blanchard*. Additionally, in several other scenes, various other characters address her (and other students) with the same professional title of *Doctor*. But being *only* medical students, (and not having even graduated nor passed any medical boards) she/they are NOT yet MD's. It is improper to call a medical student a *Doctor*. The proper title for a medical student is *Student Doctor*.
The device Alison stuffs the body into near the end, appears to be an autoclave, or sterilizer, which operates from high-temperature steam, not flame.
The Aztec civilization only existed in Mesoamerica, a region which is situated in central Mexico, not in Brazil, yet as the film opens we hear a dialogue wherein Dr Covas exclaims "Aztecs, this far South." This was possibly a deliberate, though inexplicable error by the filmmakers.
