One part film noir, two parts George Romero, "Will" showcases the considerable talents of director/writer/editor Elvis Murks and producer/co-writer Mark D'Elicio. The filmmakers' highly-stylized use of the DV format turns their minimalistic approach into a moody, subtle piece of drama that evokes an uncomfortable feeling of solitude and an inevitable sense of dread. A top contender at the 2004 DV Short Film Festival, this was a stand-out entry in every way. Look out also for the filmmakers' ultra-impressive opening logo ("Elma Films").
Stylish and suspenseful, "Will" WILL scare you.
