A bizarre and distasteful comedy in which screen buffoon Onesime tries to rid himself of a baby with which he has been saddled. His attempts to rid himself of this troublesome encumbrance includes throwing it into the long grass, abandoning it in the cupboard of a restaurant and -incredibly - throwing it into a river. About as funny as it sounds...

(Don't) be my baby.

Onésime (an old-fashioned first name) was the hero of many shorts by Jean Durand .This one may seem cruel but it is actually rather silly for it must not be taken seriously;a shameless "nanny" , Onésime wants to get rid of a baby by drowning him and by leaving him in the cupboard of a restaurant;as a last resort,he puts the child in a package he gives to the gendarmes who hand it to the lost property.
One year later ,it's his wedding day;But he had forgotten that ,if a lost and found thing is not claimed within a year (and a day) .......
Onésime looks like a clown ,and Durand's short is pure burlesque style.
