It is a delightful privilege to view a real and legitimate comedy at all times. In this exceptionally fine offering, no horse play, chases or slap-stick elements predominate. It very plainly pleased a big audience and was received with great laughter. The acting and all the details are adequate. Maurice Costello and Mary Charleson have the leading roles. - The Moving Picture World, July 25, 1914
