TANGLEWOODS' SECRET is another Christian-themed movie from indie director Mike Pritchard, who seemed to be setting himself up as a British Donald Thompson for a time. This one's another adaptation of a novel by missionary author Patricia St. John, and once again children are the protagonists. They're involved in a money-saving plot which leads them to befriend a put-upon gypsy boy, and along the way there are plenty of life lessons in regards to giving, sharing, forgiveness, understanding, and generally other human-friendly themes. It's another low rent, talky enterprise and one I found pretty tiresome if I'm at all honest.
