Leonce Perret is hosting a seance, and the guests are gathering. Meanwhile, his daughter is entertaining her young man, and it's a great show; so much so, that when the other guests come in, they are forced to duck beneath the table the coompany will be using,

Perret was a major comic and serious actor and director for Gaumont, starring in a long series of short situational comedies. although he ceased to act in 1916, he continued to direct through 1934. He died in 1935, age 55.
