Stephen Fry and Michael Fassbender in A Bear Named Winnie (2004)

Goofs

A Bear Named Winnie

Edit

Continuity

The conductor announces arrival at White River while it is dark outside the train yet when the passengers debark, it is sunny.
World War I started in August 1914. The Canadian Expeditionary Force wouldn't have embarked until many weeks later. Yet all the scenes are in bright and warm summer weather.
In first scenes - the red collar tabs for higher officers are shown upside down and further down the collar. Later the error is pointed out and the patches resume their correct positions. This is pretty glaring but is often in line with other films and TV shows mixing up different periods of British uniform.

Factual errors

The troop train is a CPR train yet the coaches are green. CP's passenger coaches were always maroon.
