Mr. Potato Head says about the sandbox "nothing but sand and a couple of Lincoln Logs", to which Ham replies that he doesn't think they were Lincoln Logs, implying that they were actually feces. Potatohead also slips in urine on the bathroom floor, to which Lotso remarks, "watch out for puddles."

Ken is in his underwear during two scenes. This is played for laughs.

There are a few jokes about Ken being effeminate. In one scene, Barbie disguises herself as Ken in order to trick another toy and when it sees her high heels sticking out of the costume, it smirks.

Mrs. Potatohead has her mouth removed by Lotso, to which her husband replies, "no one takes my wife's mouth, except me!" (Younger viewers probably won't pick up on it).

Buzz refers to Jessie as a "temptress".

The most infamous innuendos are very vague and will likely fly over younger viewers' heads, but there are a couple.

A doll is held down by several other dolls, it struggles to get free, and the other dolls unscrew a panel on the doll's back while it screams.

A toy rips the removable mouth off a shouting toy. A pigeon pecks at a makeshift toy, causing it to crumble into three pieces; it is later seen restored.

A large baby doll is shown in a threatening manner in several scenes and in one particularly creepy scene, it is shown swinging on a swing at night staring at the moon until it hears a noise behind it and its head turns around to face backward.

A doll slaps another doll in the face and rips a scarf off his neck.

Toddlers play with the toys very roughly, which includes throwing and slamming them.

When Barbie and Ken first meet, she tells him "Nice ascot!" emphasizing the first syllable so that it comes out "ass-cot".

Big Baby is referred to as "mongo" (short for "mongoloid", a slur for a person with down syndrome or intellectual disabilities).

In one scene, some of the toys hide and one of them makes a noise and the baby doll on the swing turns around and comes to see what happens. Suspenseful music plays and gets louder until the baby realizes the toys are not there, so it heads back.

The first time the toys are played with at Sunny Side Daycare, they are placed with screaming toddlers who play with them roughly by throwing them, hitting them against things and chewing on them.

This Toy Story movie is, perhaps, much darker than the first two.

Lotso has a cymbal-banging monkey monitor the security cameras. Whenever it sees toys trying to escape, it's eyes open wide and it lets out several high-pitched screams. This may frighten younger viewers.

Mild/Moderate for neurodivergent viewers.

1-3 year old kids play with the toys very rough in one scene.

Pretty bold/adventurous movie.

This Toy Story movie is more twisted and dark than the other three movies.
