Continuity

When Mina is doing her final vault routine, the color of her bra strap showing is a light, white color. When she has received her score and is being congratulated by her teammates, the color of her bra strap is hot pink.
When Haley, Wei Wei, and Mina are watching Tricia's balance beam routine, they change positions part way through the routine on the seats.
When Haley first gets into the tub filled with ice, her sports bra is black. Then they cut to a scene where the other girls were watching the sports news and then they switch back to the tub scene where Haley is getting out of the tub and her sports bra is now gray.
At almost the end of the movie, when Joanne Charis does her scratch on stage, she pulls her bra strap out. A few seconds later, her bra straps are back in her leotard again.
When the coach is telling Haley how proud he is of her, Haley's hair flips from behind her shoulder to the front several times in that scene, from the different camera angles.

Factual errors

During the IG Classic Burt would not be allowed to stand where he was during the vaulting rotation. The judges would have moved him because they would not have been able to see the whole of the vault.
In 2006, when the film was made, the gymnastics Code of Points was changed from a 'perfect 10' system to the current open ended system that is in place now.
Wei Wei shouldn't have won the in-house competition, because she didn't stick her vault or beam dismounts, nor did she stick her pass shown on floor.
When the girls are outside arguing about going with Frank and Poot, there's a girl on crutches, with a cast on her lower leg. This is not the cast given to someone with the injury she sustained to her femur.
If Haley walked out of worlds 2 years before the film, that means she'd have walked out of 2004's world. However, this was an Olympic year and, as such, wouldn't have had a world competition.

Incorrectly regarded as goofs

When Burt Vickerman bounces of the trampoline after attempting a full and asks for 911 to be called, he is driven away in a vehicle marked with the words "Harris Co. Fire Department." Some believe this indicates that he was driven away in a fire truck. However, many fire departments have paramedics on staff and own ambulances that go out on emergency calls. Looking at the back of the truck, it is clear that it is the boxy shape of the back of an ambulance, not the shape of a fire engine.
The movie is set in Texas, yet Haley's mother (played by Australian Gia Carides) is the only character with a Southern accent. However, contrary to popular belief, while a Southern drawl is not uncommon in Texas, a sizable number of Texans speak with a "normal" American accent, including the vast Austin subculture of which this goof-corrector is a member. It's likely an urban-versus-rural difference.
The story line dictates that Hayley has been inactive in gymnastics for two years. Based on the results of her leaving Worlds, one would believe that walking out of the IG Classic would yield the same result, disqualification. Without an official result in a competition for two years, she is somehow qualified for the National Championships at the end of the film. However, USAG allows a gymnast to petition their way into a meet if they are for some reason unable to finish the qualifying meet. They use the score from the last FULL USAG Sanctioned meet that the gymnast competed in.

Revealing mistakes

During the final meet if you look beyond the first three rows of spectators the stands are clearly filled with dummies to make the arena look full. It becomes obvious when the real people are clapping and cheering and the dummies remain immobile.
Near the beginning of Wei Wei's beam routine one of the shots clearly shows the extra-wide beam they used to shoot the dance moves.
When Haley scratches on vault, Anthem Part Two by Blink-182 starts playing. The word "f*ck" is not silenced the first time the chorus is played, but in the second verse and second chorus, it is silenced. (This is because the movie is rated PG-13, and the MPAA permits only one use of a sexually-derived expletive before the rating must be changed to R.)
In the opening scene, the house is clearly under construction. A house with no doorknobs would very likely not yet have an alarm.
When Hayley's on beam at the classic, she's doing a handstand, and a tear falls on the beam. When she rights herself, she has wet trails down her cheeks. The wetness from her tears should have been down her forehead, since she was upside down when she was crying.

Miscellaneous

During the ABC Family end credits version, the soundtrack says it's available on Walt Disney Records, but when it's clearly the soundtrack is available on Hollywood Records.

Audio/visual unsynchronised

When they open the door at the unfinished house, there is the sound of the knob and lock, but there is no knob on the door, and the guy opens the door with his fingers.

Crew or equipment visible

During Haley's nighttime run, the shadow of the boom and camera can be seen on the road every time they pass a street light.
When Haley and Burt are talking about how Chris DeFrank slept with Haley's mom, the shadow of equipment is visible on Burt's shirt.
In the last shot of the scene when Haley is running back from the diner, the shadow of the camera can be seen from the street lights.

Errors in geography

Mountains are shown in several scenes - Neither Houston or Plano has mountains

Plot holes

In gymnastics competitions at the national level the individual event finals qualification is the all around competition. Two individual event finals had occurred, vault and bars, before the meet manager inserted "alternate" Tricia Skilken for the beam finals. That suggests that Tricia did not qualify for 3 of the 4 event finals and still, somehow, won the all around competition. Just by the number of gymnasts in each event final this should be mathematically impossible, and since Tricia tried to bust the rebellion on beam, there is no way she would have scratched the first two event finals unless she was injured. However, if she was injured, she would not have competed on beam.

Character error

When Joanne and Haley are arguing about who gets to compete in the IG Classic, Haley says that Dalmatians are born with spots, they don't earn them. Dalmatians are actually born with a completely white coat, and their spots develop over time.
