One of the 10 Best of 2004
This is not an easily forgettable short. Ekman's style pulls you right onto the battle grounds of the nameless war and shows you innocent twenty somethings forced to kill as well as be killed. Actingwise, Frankie Ferrera really makes a star turning performance. Even though it's a short, look for some of these names to pop up in feature films soon.
Budgetwise, a little goes a long way folks. Put any big budget war movie next to it and you can't tell the difference. Even though it only made the festival circuit, it should be available at the official sight. Forgotten Heroes is not so easily forgotten.
