Think Sixth Sense meets the Odd Couple.

Warning: Spoilers
Our poor hero just wants a house. His father never could hold to a place for them to live and he wants to make right on that. He finds what should be a dream home, great view, excellent interior. Oh, and an angry apparition.

It seems that what ever lives in this house wants him gone. Most people would say 'see ya' and be done with it, but he can't. He has to honor his fathers dying wish.

*Spoiler Alert* The film works better in the first half, when we witness our hero being repeatedly beaten and abused by inanimate objects. His rants to the local police are pure comedy and his interaction with the town folk are equally humorous. However, at around the half-way mark he gains the ability to see the ghost in question. Most of the conflict is lost at that point, so the film introduces a new adversary to both the man and the spirit which forces them to work together, but it never really plays out. The movie loses it's footing and never regains it. Too bad.

This would have been an excellent horror-comedy, but as is it's just a decent time waster.

Beware the chickens!!!

My rating of 9, may be a little inflated because I absolutely adored Kick the Moon, and was really looking forward to this one. It was still a very good movie, but I definitely didn't laugh as much or feel for the characters as much as I did in Kick the Moon.

But in the end, this movie does have it all. It is funny, a little bit eerie, sexy, another cool big fight scene, touching, dramatic. Just like his previous films, while the movie is really just a comedy, the director tries to add in other types of elements, and succeeds in making them all work together seamlessly.

In this film we have a man (acted very well by one of the stars of Kick the Moon) who is obsessed with owning his own house because of his eccentric father. Finally when he does get his house, he finds out that it is haunted. And so begins the battle for the house, ghost vs man! But just like the director's other films, the story is not as simple as that, and develops quite nicely for an entertaining 2 hours.

Definitely worth seeing, check it out if you ever get the chance!

Warning: Spoilers
This is also know as Gwishini Sanda (2004). It a Asian Horror/ comedy movie at it best. The Plot: The day that Pil waited for so many years has finally come: he's getting his own house, the last wish of his deceased father. And what a perfect house it is! Big, beautiful, isolated, next to the ocean and at that price, Pil couldn't have found a better place. All is going fine, until some inexplicable event start to happen in the house.

As a child, Pil-Gi and his father were constantly on the move because they didn't own a permanent residence. Then the movie fast forward few years Pil-Gi is now 15-17 Years old. Father and son spend a lot of time together and Father tell Pil to have good home when his older and then few months later is father end up getting lie and soon Pass aways, (Sad Scene).

Little older and finally Get the house he always wanted But then weird (Funny) Stuff start to happens and soon find out there is Ghost in the House then he runs out of the house screaming on to the street end up at a packed Police stations and no one can hear what he saying, so then he says it really loud "There is a ghost in my house".

Absolutely Hilarious :) This has to be one of the funniest horror movies I ever seen, it was Fantastic. Out standing acting from everyone is this movie. If you love horror comedy such as Brain dead aka Dead Alive, Black Sheep or Shaun of the dead., This movie is for YOU! IT'S A must see movie ! i give this movie a 9/10

Brilliantly funny and heartfelt

Why doesn't this movie have a DVD/blu ray release? I have been looking for it for years now. This man is haunted by his father's admonition that he should own a house and when he finally finds one in his price-range, he quickly realizes it's haunted...by a female ghost that doesn't like interlopers on her domain! What ensues is a hilarious fight to win the house, right down to fighting with chickens.

But when the story takes a turn, it becomes more sweet and sad but still has some deft comedic touches. By the end, you are cheering for all the characters that came before. Even the rolling credits have a special funny touch added that I won't spoil. If anyone ever finds this to purchase, let me know, please! It's a true hidden gem.
