The Stanford Prison Experiment (2015)

Goofs

The Stanford Prison Experiment

Edit

Factual errors

When Dr. Zimbardo speaks with his colleague, the colleague says that he will see him at the beginning of the semester. Stanford does not have semesters; rather, it has a quarter academic calendar.
The officer talks about Frankenstein as the monster when Frankenstein is actually the doctor.
The CO talks about Frankenstein as the monster when Frankenstein is actually the doctor.

Miscellaneous

When a guard asks the prisoners to shout "Prisoner 819 did a bad thing" 20 times, they actually shout it 24 times.

Character error

A guard incorrectly attributes the now instantly recognizable walk of the Frankenstein Monster to his first appearance in the 1931 film Frankenstein (1931). The Monster didn't walk with his arms outstretched in front of him until Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943), over a decade later.
