We love Chris and Martin Kratt
lisamurphymath28 February 2011
I haven't seen Be The Creature 2, because I can't find a source for it. I have seen all 13 episodes of the original Be The Creature series, and loved them.

I have to respond to the reviewer who dislikes the way Chris and Martin put themselves into the picture. The Kratt brothers make nature programs for children. The kids like the Kratts and their shows. My son pretends he is there with them, putting himself in the center of the action. If the Kratts stayed out of the picture, I think it would be harder for my son to imagine himself being there.

What Chris and Martin Kratt do works for their audience. If you don't like kids' shows, watch something else.

Distracting and annoying way of presentation
li_brand21 May 2009
Unfortunately the antics of the Kratt-brothers, trying to insert themselves into as many scenes as possible by for e.g. trying to jump or run with the animals, annoys and distracts from the material being presented.

This way of presenting also destroys the aesthetic and emotional appeal of the scenes.

This series would be much improved if the presenter keep himself out of sight so that viewers can focus on the subject being presented. It is much more pleasant to watch animals in their natural state without humans interfering. They should also try to tell the viewer something more than the general knowledge stuff. However, this is just my view and maybe other viewers like watching presenters competing with the animals for attention.
