Dom is a 'no budget' flick that occasionally looks like a million bucks. It's beautifully shot with a solid performance by the lead Grace Kosaka. The film is essentially an exploration of the character of a woman who has shut herself off emotionally and interacts with the world chiefly through her poetry and through her 'job' as a professional dominatrix. One of the nice threads in the film is that her art and her involvement in S&M are intertwined and in the end force her to take a look at her own life. The film is a little uneven in tone and the main plot is almost an after thought but I do think the spoken word poetry and domination scenes are very compelling. Overall, definitely worth a look.
