Plot Summary

When the teenager Sean inherits a farm at Carson County, West Virginia, his girlfriend Jessica convinces him to visit the land to decide to keep or sell it. They travel to Virginia with their friends Darcy, Angela, Bryan and the lesbian Alex. When they stop at a nearby store to ask directions, the owner advises Sean not to go to the place, since his ancestor made an evil pact with the devil in the past and the place is cursed. They disregard the warning and head to the farmhouse to spend the night. During the night, Sean returns to the store to buy ice, but the place is closed. An old lady advises him that it is the blood moon, when the spirits are released, and his friend and he are in danger in the farm. When Sean returns to the farmhouse, he stumbles upon the grave of the old lady. He asks his friends to leave the place since he saw a ghost and when they are ready to leave the house, they are surrounded by killing scarecrows and the crime spree begins.
