Continuity error: When all of the friends drive through a tunnel after the engagement party, it is early morning (with morning light) when they enter the tunnel and dark night when they are across the tunnel on the other side. No supernatural element in the movie accounts for this, so the only explanation is that it is a continuity error.
Many of the characters die in the college yet no police or the family members are seen.
