Not in a million years...
did I think I would get hooked on a show like "in a fix". It has gotten to the point where I tape every episode! What makes this show so special is it has all the elements you want in a do-it-yourself program, such as: tension, enthusiasm when explaining the jobs (which could come in handy), great designs, moments of hilarity, and the bond between the people who work on the houses. I have rarely encountered a show (especially on "reality t.v.") where I like all the participants. You can easily establish a favorite. I personally don't have one because I like them all. The host Marc Goldberg is a complete maniac. He brings an edge which is full of pranks and wit. He is the best host on TLC, by far. James "The Wombat" Lunday, the handsome Australian carpenter who loves to entertain the camera while explaining his wood-working projects. The man is extraordinarily impressive with his crafty and gorgeous furniture finishes. Justin Brown AKA: the drywall king, is a machine when working. He can go from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds. Marc "Sparky" Bartolomeo, the very good-looking electrician who can woo the ladies and heat the wiring in a house at the same time. Jennie-Lyn Berntsen, the pretty but intelligent women who can use power tools just as well as the men (while having French tip manicured nails!) Gregory, the tall man with a witty persona and a great sense of humor. Danny, the goof-off but can be a great team player as well. Then their are the beautiful designers. Nani Vinken, possible leader of the pack, is the most decorated (no pun intended) of the designers. She knows what she wants and is not afraid to let you know it. Deborah DiMare, diva designer, who has an amazing color pallet to satisfy her aesthetic pleasure. Last but not least is perky Franzella Guido, the youngest of the trio. Creative and calm she has a cool 21st-century vibe for any modern room. These are all the people of the "in a fix" crew. Hope that you enjoy the show as much as I do.
