Director 'Philip Christon' auditioned Lisa Dalton for The Chosen One, two years earlier. Due to the 1994 Earthquake in LA, shooting was delayed until summer when Lisa was unavailable due to teaching in Maine. When Philip was inspired to create a short companion piece for the Chosen One, he offered Lisa Dalton the role in The Bundle without an audition. It was shot one very long day in the "bat cave" where it was very cold and wet. The crew was highly focused and fun, but getting the finger nails on the baby was so difficult they nearly couldn't get the shot.
Years later, Lisa Dalton was teaching Chekhov acting techniques to other acting teachers in Maine when one of her students exclaimed excitedly that her high school age son and his friends had a copy of this film which had apparently developed a cult following.
