Death Valley: The Revenge of Bloody Bill (2004)

Goofs

Death Valley: The Revenge of Bloody Bill

Edit

Continuity

The college students are driving in a van down a two lane highway. But when they almost hit the second drug dealer, they are suddenly on a single lane dirt road.
When Jerry is telling the legend of Bloody Bill he describes Bill as a former Union solider while a confederate flag is draped over Bloody Bill's coffin. Bloody Bill is referenced as a Confederate solider from then on.

Factual errors

When the tale of Bloody Bill is told, he is said to be running from the Union Army. Incorrectly regarded as a continuity error, this would still be factual as the character does not call Bill a Union Officer. Instead, as a Confederate Officer likely wanted for war crimes and further actions taken after the close of the Civil War, he would have been pursued by Union forces. It is also heavily implied that that events of Bill and his sisters deaths take place years after the war. Though why a wanted war criminal being hunted by the Union long after the close of the war would still be wearing his uniform after such a period of time has passed is odd to say the least.

Revealing mistakes

Multiple times throughout the film the viewers can not only see weapons used by the group bending, but slides and ejection ports are never seen functioning due to the rubber or plastic nature of the props. One can also see the pin plainly visible in the grenade when the secondary antagonist drops it.
